Job Overview
Here at Leaders Staffing we are looking for dedicated Upholstery for one of our clients located in Topeka, IN. The ideal candidate will possess strong experienced Upholstery skills, attention to detail, and experience working with various tools and materials.
Shift 1st: 5:30am - 1:30pm (Mon-Thurs) Overtime Friday
Duties
- Assemble furniture components using fabrics, foam, wood, and hardware.
- Cut fabrics, foam, and other materials manually or using sewing machines to meet project requirements
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and sewing machines to assemble furniture or vehicle upholstery
- Use hand tools and air tools (staple guns, glue systems, etc.)
- Read work tickets and follow build instructions
- Inspect your own work to meet quality standards
- Problem-solve when materials or fit issues arise
- Rotate across tasks as needed to support production flow
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision craftsmanship
- Proficiency in using hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and sewing machines
- Experience in manual cutting of fabrics and materials for upholstery projects
- Upholstery, assembly, construction, or hands-on production experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn quickly
