Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality, including cocktail preparation and wine service
- Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Process cash, credit card transactions, and sales through POS systems efficiently and accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly to foster guest relations and satisfaction
- Assist with opening and closing side work.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Sunday and holiday availability required.
- Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food trays.
- Must be available to work Sundays and holidays.
- Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one, if required).
