Position Summary:
Crossroads Coatings a leading manufacturer of custom paints and coating formulations, We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Batch Filler and Paint Maker to join our paint manufacturing team. This role is responsible for producing paint batches according to approved formulas, operating mixing and filling equipment, and ensuring all products meet quality, color, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials (resins, pigments, additives, solvents) according to batch formulas
- Operate mixers, dispersers, mills, and filling equipment
- Adjust batches for color, viscosity, and consistency as required
- Fill, label, and package finished paint products accurately
- Perform in-process quality checks and record batch data
- Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area
- Clean equipment and containers between batches
- Report equipment issues, spills, or quality deviations to supervisors
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and written.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in paint, coatings, chemical, or manufacturing environments is an asset
- Ability to read and follow batch formulas and safety data sheets (SDS)
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working around chemicals while wearing required PPE

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
