Duties
- Respond promptly to on-call requests for cleaning and maintenance of vacation rentals and office spaces.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle residential cleaning duties such as laundry, bed-making, and organizing to ensure properties are guest-ready.
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing, and routine maintenance to preserve flooring quality.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health guidelines.
- Use janitorial and custodial equipment properly, including vacuums, steam cleaners, and floor buffers.
- Communicate effectively with property managers and clients to address specific cleaning needs or concerns during each assignment.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including hotel housekeeping or custodial roles.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Experience with laundry services and managing multiple properties efficiently.
- Familiarity with janitorial supplies, cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for preparing light refreshments or assisting with minor property needs when required. Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
