Traveling Electrical Superintendent – Data Center Construction | Housing + Per Diem
Join a growing national electrical contractor building some of the country's largest mission-critical data center projects. We are seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale electrical construction projects across the United States. This leadership role is responsible for supervising electrical crews, coordinating daily operations, driving safety and quality, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all project specifications and NEC requirements.
Travel is required. We provide company-paid housing, daily per diem, and a company vehicle or travel allowance for all project assignments.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on large-scale data center construction projects
- Oversee installation of medium voltage electrical systems (5kV–35kV) and related electrical infrastructure
- Manage daily field operations, manpower planning, scheduling, production, and jobsite coordination
- Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, NEC requirements, quality standards, and project schedules
- Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and utility companies
- Maintain daily reports, production updates, schedules, and required field documentation
- Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving safely and efficiently
- Support successful project turnover and completion
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, or Electrical Foreman
- Experience leading commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center electrical construction projects
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
- Thorough knowledge of electrical construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, productivity, and field logistics
- Experience with medium voltage electrical systems (5kV–35kV) preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
- Willingness to travel nationwide for extended project assignments

Location
Current project is based in Iowa, with ongoing nationwide travel supporting large-scale data center construction projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
