Position Overview
The Robot Welder Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating robotic welding machines to perform automated welding tasks in a metal manufacturing environment. This role ensures welds meet quality standards, production efficiency, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Programming & Setup

Program robotic welding machines for specific welding tasks.

Set up welding fixtures and load materials ensuring proper alignment.

Adjust robot parameters to optimize welding processes for accuracy and efficiency.
Operation & Monitoring

Monitor robotic welders during operation to maintain consistent quality.

Make real-time adjustments to welding parameters and robot movements as needed.

Conduct quality checks on welded parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on robotic welding systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in robotic welding operations.

Collaboration & Communication

Skills & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding or robotics preferred.

Experience: Proven experience as a Robot Welder Operator or similar role.

Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

Physical Requirements
