Step into a precision-driven environment at B&A Precision, a CNC manufacturer serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical sectors for over 50 years. As our CNC Turning Setup Specialist, you’ll set up and run complex turning jobs that keep vital programs moving. You’ll report directly to the Shop President and play a hands-on role in hitting tight specs and timelines.
Your shift begins by reviewing the blueprint and verifying material and tooling. You load the job, dial in offsets, and prove out the program on a 2- or 3-axis CNC horizontal lathe with Fanuc controls. You run a careful first piece, validate dimensions with precision gages, and confirm GD&T callouts before releasing the job to production. Throughout the day, you partner with teammates, keep programs optimized in G-code, and support smooth bar-fed runs.
