About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Support & Radio Repair Technician to join our client's team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to executing test methodologies for RF technologies, providing technical support for hardware and software systems, and performing hands-on radio repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Execute test plans for various technologies, including RF and radio communications, and provide feedback to customers on outcomes or issues.
- Provide dedicated technical support and troubleshooting for radio equipment, taking proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
- Diagnose hardware and software faults in two-way radios and execute necessary repairs.
- Perform set-up, maintenance, and repair of specialized test equipment, and provide input on equipment selection.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in testing, measurement, technical support, or a closely related field.
- A strong, demonstrated understanding of two-way radios and RF (Radio Frequency) communications.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of electronics, semiconductor, RF testing, radio repair, or related work experience.
