American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN with an active NY license for a 16-week night shift assignment in a long-term care and rehabilitation center in Vestal, NY, caring for Alzheimer's and dementia patients.

State/government-run long-term care center offering rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care

Long-term care (LTC) unit serving an Alzheimer's and dementia patient population in a 300-bed facility

Patient ratio of 1:18–20

Night shift schedule (2345–0715), 5x8-hour shifts per week

Every other weekend required upon center request

Charts using PointClickCare (PCC)

Free on-site parking available

Active NY State LPN/LVN license required — license required if applicable; no license violations accepted

Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required; recent experience in rehab, med/surg, or hospital settings may also be considered

Current BLS certification required

NY state license must be provided at time of consideration

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

This is a state/government-run facility — no medication pass duties are included in this role
