Part-Time Dishwasher — The Wine Whisperer
The Wine Whisperer is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This part-time position is essential to keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly throughout service.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done, works efficiently, and brings a positive, team-first attitude to every shift.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Return clean items promptly to their designated storage areas
- Remove trash, recycling, and food waste as needed
- Sweep and mop floors and assist with general kitchen cleaning
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
- Help maintain clean and organized storage, prep, and kitchen areas
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries when needed
- Support the kitchen team with basic prep or closing tasks as assigned
- Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, and kitchen leadership during service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Availability to work a part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the duration of a shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull repeatedly
- Ability to work around water, cleaning products, hot equipment, and slippery surfaces
- Ability to safely handle racks of dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
