Direct Care / Housekeeping Staff
Wedgewood RHCF is dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing and supportive services for adults living with mental illness. Our residents are ambulatory adults who do not require skilled nursing care but benefit from guidance, supervision, and support with their daily activities.
We are currently seeking Direct Care / Housekeeping Staff for the following shifts:
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Responsibilities
The Direct Care / Housekeeping Staff member will provide compassionate support to residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include:
- Guiding, assisting, and directing residents as needed.
- Providing direct care and support with daily activities.
- Performing routine housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Preparing light meals and assisting with basic food preparation.
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
- Performing floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping as needed.
- Monitoring the environment and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Supporting a safe, respectful, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to work the assigned shift, with flexibility to work additional hours or other shifts as needed.
- Previous experience in direct care, residential services, housekeeping, or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate and respectful approach when working with residents.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy.
- Ability to remain active and move continuously throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
