Jibe Staffing has an immediate need for experienced Assembly Line Workers for our client located in Southeast Houston. This position is full time, temp to hire for the right person!
1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri (some overtime based on business needs)

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Operate production line equipment to package and process products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Monitor production machinery to ensure efficient operation and consistent product quality.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products, verifying packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and product specifications.
- Load raw materials and package supplies onto the production line to maintain continuous operations.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company safety standards.
- Conduct routine equipment cleaning and sanitation to support food safety and operational efficiency.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, product defects, and safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with machine changeovers and minor adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Pack, palletize, and prepare finished products for warehouse storage and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting daily production quotas and performance goals.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Food Distribution industry or warehousing in a fast paced production environment.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend and pull for duration of shift.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
- Bi-lingual oral, speech, and writing skills in English and Spanish or other language is an asset in this position
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey message clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
- Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner.
PAY:
$17.00 per hour
