We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for maintaining the property's guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance practices.
Essential Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete assigned work orders.
- Maintain hotel equipment, tools, and maintenance inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and Hilton brand standards.
- Assist with room renovations, furniture assembly, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete maintenance tasks independently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
