We are now accepting applications for the following position:
PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- While cleaning guest rooms, ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Removes dirty towels and sheets from the guest room and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet.
- Cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the guest room.
- Makes bed and cleans tile area in guest room.
- Removes room service trays, dishes, and carts to service area landings.
- Uses chemicals, cleaners, and cleaning equipment properly.
- Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted. Make sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevator landing stairwells, and linen storage rooms are clean.
- Removes all trash from areas. Sorts linen for washing.
- Moves racks of clean linen to guest room floors.
- Stock linen storage room. Sorts clean linen.
- Deep cleans floors of lobby, elevators, public areas, guest rooms, locker rooms, guest corridors, offices, event space, spa and fitness club, and other service areas.
- Ensures housekeeping closets on each floor are fully stocked.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Stand and walk throughout the shift for up to eight working hours.
• Frequently carry and lift up to 50lbs daily. • Kneel, push, pull, and lift items throughout the shift.
- Must be flexible and willing to work, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- May be exposed to a noisy, humid, and hot environment. Temperatures will vary depending on the weather.
Hourly Wage: USD$8.00 - USD$10.00 Per Hour + gratuities
