Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of low voltage systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems, including fire alarms, security systems, and computer networking solutions. The technician will ensure that all systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations. ANY DRY FIRE SYSTEM CERTIFICATIONS is a huge plus!
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including fire alarms, Card Access, CCTV, A/V and pulling Cable/Wire
- Collaborate with clients to design system layouts that meet their specific needs while adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Utilize remote access software for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and training for clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately in compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to electrical systems and components.
- Familiarity with system design principles and NEC regulations.
- Proficient in using remote access software for troubleshooting purposes.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles is highly desirable.
- Experience with fire alarm systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with clients and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
