Responsibilities
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and confidence
- Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies and merchandising as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions politely, managing phone etiquette professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support stock replenishment efforts through stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively
- Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is advantageous for growth opportunities
- Strong communication skills, friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are essential
