Job Summary: Contracted Delivery Driver
We are seeking reliable and self-motivated Contracted Delivery Drivers to join our logistics team. This role involves the timely and secure delivery of packages using your own insured and licensed vehicle. As an independent contractor, you will play a critical role in maintaining our commitment to efficient, professional service while enjoying the flexibility of managing your own schedule. The areas we deliver to is Niles, Youngstown, and Girard.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to designated locations with accuracy and care
- Maintain a consistent delivery schedule while adapting to route changes and traffic conditions
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in compliance with company standards and customer expectations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status or issues
- Handle packages with attention to safety, security, and cleanliness
- Maintain vehicle in good working condition and ensure it meets all legal and insurance requirements
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proof of current vehicle insurance
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for package delivery
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs]
- Smartphone with GPS capability for route navigation and delivery tracking
- Prior delivery experience preferred but not required
- You will use your own vehicle to deliver
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
