Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Asleep Overnight Direct Support Staff (1:1) to provide essential care and supervision during overnight hours. This role involves ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of individuals with varying needs, including those requiring assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and behavioral support.
Duties
- Monitor individuals throughout the overnight shift to ensure safety and respond promptly to any needs or emergencies.
- Observe and document individuals' conditions, vital signs, and behavioral changes accurately as needed.
- Follow established protocols for medication administration and ensure proper handling of medications.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding individuals' status and any concerns that arise during the shift.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes with a focus on individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medication administration.
- Background in home & community care or long-term care environments.
