Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently using various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations.
Duties
- Operate and drive different types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbed trucks, and tractor-trailers.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo transported.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles as required by specific job assignments.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with freight transportation.
- Familiarity with operating various truck types including dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. MUST KNOW HOW TO MILL AND PAVE.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
