Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Lull Operator to join our expanding team. In this vital role, you will operate and maintain construction lulls—large material handling machines used to lift and move heavy building materials on-site. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth flow of materials, uphold safety standards, and support the successful completion of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced construction environment where safety, precision, and efficiency are paramount.
Duties
- Operate construction lulls safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position building materials on-site
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of lull equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Coordinate with construction teams to deliver materials accurately and on schedule
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the lull machinery as needed for different phases of construction projects
- Adhere strictly to occupational safety regulations and company safety policies to prevent accidents
Qualifications
- Equipment Certification Required - 2A Hoisting License
- Heavy equipment operation experience: 1 year
- OSHA 10 certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading of materials off trucks.
- Moving materials to areas around the site.
- Staging materials
- Removing pallets and trash
- Assist laborers at times when needed
Requirements:
- Have a good attitude and be on time
- Work safely and be conscious of surroundings and possible safety issues
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Be able to work in all outdoor environments
- Must have steel/ composite toe boots
Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
