Home Health Aide (HHA) will assist elderly, ill, or disabled individuals with daily living activities in their private homes or residential facilities.
Primary goal is to help clients maintain personal health, hygiene, and independence safely in a comfortable environment.
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support for toileting, incontinence care, and maintaining client dignity.
- Help clients with mobility, transferring (e.g., from bed to wheelchair), and basic physical therapy exercises.
- Measure and record vital signs like pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
- Assist with prescribed medications by providing timely reminders or administration as allowed by the state and care plan.
- Observe, document, and report any significant changes in the client's physical or mental health to supervisory staff (e.g., supervising nurse).
- Care for skin, and assist with basic medical equipment.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and restrictions.
- Assist with feeding if necessary, ensuring proper hydration and nutrition.
- Provide emotional reassurance and meaningful companionship to prevent social isolation.
- May perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing dishes, dusting, and changing bed linens.
- May shop for groceries and run necessary errands.
- May coordinate transportation or accompany to medical appointments and community outings.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
