Medical Imaging Center LLP is seeking a dedicated, full-time Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced outpatient team in East Syracuse, NY.
In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays, assist with advanced Interventional/C-Arm procedures, and conduct mammography screenings. We are highly invested in our team’s professional growth: if you are not yet certified in mammography but have an interest, we are fully willing to cross-train you and help you obtain your certification. Duties and Responsibilities
- Imaging Excellence: Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams and mammography screenings in compliance with established protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Surgical/Interventional Support: Operate C-Arm equipment and assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring strict sterile techniques and optimal imaging.
- Patient Care: Prepare and position patients compassionate and accurately, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety and ensure safety and comfort.
- Equipment Quality Control: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain medical imaging equipment; perform daily quality control checks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Documentation & Workflow: Accurately enter and maintain patient records, tracking imaging data within the PACS/RIS systems.
- Professional Development: Participate actively in mammography cross-training (if applicable) to successfully meet requirements for official certification.
Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Licensure: Valid New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License.
- Certification: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications (Or willing to train):
- Prior experience with Interventional Radiology or operating C-Arm equipment.
- Mammography Certification (Candidates without this certification must be willing to undergo cross-training to obtain it).
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong technical proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a large radiology group and comfort patients.
Strong attention to detail regarding radiation safety and documentation
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
