Job summary
Assisting Hands Marlborough — a new home care agency serving Marlborough and the surrounding towns — is seeking a part-time / per diem Registered Nurse to help guide the quality of care we provide to seniors in their homes. This is a flexible, low-hour role focused on training our caregivers, overseeing client care plans, and serving as our clinical resource. As a growing agency, hours will vary week to week, with room to expand as our client base grows.
This is the perfect position for a nurse who is done with long shifts at a hospital or nursing home but still wants to make a meaningful contribution in the home care field.
What You'll Do
- Train and evaluate ADL (Activities of Daily Living) skills for home health aides and CNAs
- Monitor client care plans and provide clinical oversight
- Serve as a clinical resource, answering care questions for home care clients and staff
A Plus (Not Required)
- Existing relationships with local hospitals, assisted living facilities, and geriatric physicians
- Comfort presenting to small groups on senior care topics
What We're Looking For
- Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing
- Experience in geriatric care, home care, or a related setting
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for senior care
- Reliable transportation for occasional client or facility visits
Schedule & Compensation
- Flexible scheduling. Typically 8–16 hours per week, with hours varying based on client census
- Opportunity to grow your hours as the agency expands
- $48–$55/hour, based on experience
- W-2 position. No guaranteed minimum hours
