GCE Construction is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position requires an individual who can safely operate heavy equipment and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers, and other construction equipment.
- Transport equipment and materials using a Class A CDL vehicle and trailer.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, and other construction activities.
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Work effectively with supervisors, crew members, and project managers.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
