First / Second Shift EST I Performs mechanical testing on both composite and metals. Performs material preparation functions including but not limited to Strain Gage Layout and preparation, photographing, conditioning and general specimen inspection.
Candidate should be comfortable in a lab setting, able to perform routine maintenance and repairs of various mechanical systems with direction.
Candidate should have good communication and math skills.
Candidate should be comfortable utilizing standard precision measuring instruments such as micrometer or vernier calipers.
Candidate should be comfortable with MS Word and MS excel. Lab experience, Hydraulic or Electronics background would be a plus.
Highschool Diploma / 2 yr Technical Degree preferred
