Cashier (Part-Time | Flexible Hours)

Overview
We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing accurate and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with questions or concerns
- Help customers locate products and offer recommendations when needed
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment
- Process transactions accurately (cash, credit, debit, etc.)
- Issue receipts and handle returns or exchanges professionally
- Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Bag or package purchases carefully and efficiently
- Follow store procedures for coupons, discounts, and gift cards
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
- Balance cash drawer and assist with daily sales reporting as needed
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required
