Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is looking to hire a part time physical therapy technician.
The hours would need to include Tuesday until 6 pm, Wednesday until 6 pm and Friday until 4 pm.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our great team. We are a small, but busy, privately owned outpatient physical therapy practice. This position would be a great opportunity for an individual who is currently enrolled in classes related to Physical Therapy/Exercise Science. We offer competitive pay and a great learning environment for our physical therapy technicians. Below are qualities we are looking for in our candidates. Past experience is encouraged but not a requirement. Training will begin once hired.
- Health science undergraduate degree obtained
- Goal driven individual
- Background in anatomy/exercise science
- Ability to interact/talk/assist patients with their exercise programs
- Ability to respond to constructive feedback
- Able to assist and learn skills from front desk staff including authorizations
- Respectful and reliable individual
- Desire to learn and grow as a PT tech
- General housekeeping tasks
- Ability to talk on phone with patients and staff
- Open communication with PTs and clinic staff
- Ability to work well with other PT techs to assist patients and troubleshoot during busier clinic times
- Keep clinic safe and clean for patients arrival and departures
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
