Duties
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing bar areas, including bar counters, glassware, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Support bar staff by bussing tables, clearing used glassware, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of beverage crates, supplies, and equipment with proper safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area during service hours, including bar cleaning and food preparation stations.
- Support beverage service by assisting with venue beverage delivery, setup, and breakdown in accordance with food service bar safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and support catering or event setups when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and guests..
- Experience with bar operations or venue beverage service is advantageous; knowledge of food preparation or kitchen experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food service bar safety regulations and compliance standards.
