Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash drawer management with precision.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product information.
- Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience.
- Perform stocking duties to ensure shelves are well-organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing in line with merchandising standards.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to increase sales.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
- Support retail store operations through cashiering duties, retail math calculations, and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or leading customer service initiatives.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential for smooth transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members.
