Job Description:
We are seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Primary Care and Urgent Care team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment providing comprehensive care for patients. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to deliver high-quality outpatient and urgent care services.
Experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care and occupational health is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Valid licensure as an NP or PA in the state of Virginia
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care preferred
- Experience with wellness visits, preventive care, urgent care management and occupational health is preferred
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
