Clover Property Management is seeking a full-time Leasing/Inspection Assistant for our rental management division. The assistant is responsible for visiting rental properties and coordinating the services necessary to make them available for a new tenant. The assistant is also responsible for helping prospective tenants in scheduling and viewing our inventory of available homes. The ideal candidate is friendly, confident, and assertive in answering questions about policy and qualification requirements to prospective tenants. This is a Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:30 Position)
Travel required "in-town" to properties, company vehicle provided. Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
Primary Duties:
- Complete move-out, move-in and interim walk-throughs of properties
- Coordinate with vendors to complete repairs
- Take photos of properties thoroughly documenting the condition of the home
- Light Cleaning (wipe down counters, vacuum, mop)
- Communicate with owners and managers regarding status of home and recommended repairs
- Create work orders and monitor the status of repairs
- Coordinate with the Property Management Team to ensure homes are ready for move-in on time according to schedule.
- Complete inspections of occupied homes to check for lease violations and ensure the quality of homes is maintained.
- Refine prospective tenant's criteria and select additional homes to show as necessary
- Promptly return all prospective tenants telephone calls, texts and/or emails.
- Educate prospective tenants about home renting process
- Keep Property Management Team informed on all client communications and developments
- Finalize prospective tenants by directing them and educating them on application process
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of housing systems and processes
- Time management skills
- Eye for detail
- Ability to complete tasks within a short time window
- Strong communication skills and ability to accurately relay information
Applicant must have valid driver's license and be willing to submit to background/drug screening.
