We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor & Recruiter to help recruit, build, and manage our warehouse labor team.
Most of our warehouse workers are Spanish-speaking, so fluent Spanish is required. Basic conversational English is also required for communication with management and customers.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate should be comfortable recruiting warehouse workers, managing people on-site, solving daily staffing issues, and working alongside the team when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively recruit reliable and hardworking warehouse workers
- Build and maintain a stable Spanish-speaking warehouse labor team
- Coordinate worker schedules and daily attendance
- Handle call-offs, replacements, and urgent staffing needs
- Supervise and manage warehouse workers throughout the day
- Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and work quality
- Train new workers on warehouse procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and workplace standards
- Help keep reliable workers and replace workers who are not a good fit
- Break down air cargo pallets
- Organize, sort, label, palletize, wrap, and move boxes
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Communicate daily updates and staffing issues with management
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish is required
- Basic conversational English required
- Strong recruiting ability is highly preferred
- Must be comfortable recruiting warehouse labor through personal networks, referrals, social media, community groups, or other recruiting channels
- Previous warehouse supervisor, team lead, staffing, or recruiting experience preferred
- Able to manage a team of primarily Spanish-speaking warehouse workers
- Reliable, responsible, organized, and able to handle pressure
- Strong people-management and problem-solving skills
- Warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must provide acceptable I-9 employment authorization documents
- Valid SSN required for payroll
Schedule
This position requires the supervisor to be on-site from approximately 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on scheduled workdays.
The number of working days per week can be discussed and adjusted, depending on availability and operational needs.
Because this is a long on-site shift, we are looking for someone dependable who is comfortable taking responsibility for the warehouse and team throughout the entire working day.
