Role- Desktop Support Engineer

Duties
- Provide comprehensive technical troubleshooting support for desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime for end users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, including operating systems, enterprise applications such as SAP, and security tools to uphold system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design for system development projects, including UI development and microservices architecture integration.
- Support software implementation initiatives by deploying updates, patches, and new applications while adhering to compliance standards and cybersecurity best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to understand their technical needs and deliver tailored IT solutions that enhance productivity.
- Conduct UI testing and security analysis to identify vulnerabilities and ensure systems meet enterprise security policies.
- Assist in scaling IT infrastructure by participating in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Contribute to agile software development cycles by providing feedback on system performance and supporting iterative improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and incident reports for future reference.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles to troubleshoot connectivity issues efficiently.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies to support rapid deployment cycles.
- Expertise in system design for system development projects, including UI development and microservices architecture.
- Proven ability in stakeholder coordination to gather requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Skilled in UI testing techniques to ensure optimal user experience across applications.
- Proficiency in security analysis practices to identify vulnerabilities and implement cybersecurity measures.
- Hands-on experience with software implementation processes, including deployment automation via CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and cloud services supporting scalability efforts.
- Knowledge of enterprise solutions implementation to enhance organizational efficiency through technology upgrades.
- Awareness of cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards relevant to enterprise environments.
- Ability to provide technical troubleshooting support under pressure while maintaining excellent communication with end users.
