Dave’s Landscape Company | Full-Time | Competitive Pay Based on Experience
Dave’s Landscape Company is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead our hardscape construction team. We specialize in creating high-quality outdoor living spaces, including paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, steps, and other custom landscape construction projects.
We are looking for someone who can lead a crew, read plans, manage a job site, and take pride in producing high-quality work from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a landscape construction crew on residential projects
- Install paver patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, steps, and other hardscapes
- Build fire pits, outdoor living spaces, and custom landscape features
- Perform proper excavation, grading, drainage, base preparation, and compaction
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other construction equipment
- Read and understand landscape construction plans and site layouts
- Measure and calculate materials, grades, elevations, and quantities
- Ensure projects are built correctly, efficiently, and according to specifications
- Manage daily production and keep projects moving on schedule
- Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and project managers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Train and mentor crew members
- Identify and solve problems in the field
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of landscape construction/hardscape experience preferred
- Proven experience installing pavers, walls, patios, steps, and other hardscapes
- Previous foreman or crew-lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, drainage, and base preparation
- Ability to read plans and accurately lay out projects
- Experience operating construction equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
- Valid driver's license
- Must take pride in workmanship and be committed to quality
