Restaurant Host/Hostess at ethos Greek Bistro
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Host/Hostess to join our team and be the first smiling face our guests see. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment guests walk in to the moment they leave.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Seat guests efficiently to ensure timely service.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and transfer calls when necessary.
- Take and prepare to-go orders with accuracy and care.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications
- A great personality — you’re the face of our restaurant!
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, full-service dining environment.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work well with others.
- Must be available to work Sundays/Mondays, weekends, and holidays.
- Weekend shifts may go until 10:30 PM; weekday nights until 9:30 PM.
