Join our wonderful team as a Breakfast Attendant at the Home 2 Suites and be the first smiling face our guests see in the morning! In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious, fresh breakfast buffet while ensuring a welcoming, clean, and efficient environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience, making mornings memorable for all who walk through our doors. Hours Tues & Thurs 5:00am-12:30pm, additional availability welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked throughout service
- Greet guests warmly, assist with food selections, and answer questions about menu offerings with enthusiasm
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, and kitchen spaces by cleaning tables, utensils, and food prep surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies such as plates, utensils, condiments, and beverages to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle food handling duties following safety standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/host, server is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling safety procedures
- Strong communication skills with etiquette and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
- Experience with meal preparation, bussing tables, or cleaning in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and a positive attitude to contribute to a, energetic atmosphere
