ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
A well-established and growing healthcare organization in New York is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join its outpatient team in Brooklyn. This is a full-time position offering a competitive compensation package, consistent scheduling, and a collaborative clinical environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $85,000 $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience
SCHEDULE
Monday Friday | 9:00 AM 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Treat patients recovering from injury, surgery, and neurological or orthopedic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards
- Deliver patient-centered care within a supportive outpatient environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New York State Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience in an outpatient or clinical setting; pediatric and adult backgrounds both considered
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
