Compensation: $500 to $750 per day, depending on experience. As the practice grows and patient volume increases, available clinic days are expected to grow accordingly. About Inversa Rx Optical
Inversa Rx Optical is a new community-focused optical practice opening within Inversa Rx, an independently owned community pharmacy serving and located in the Williamsbridge/Ollinville area of Bronx. Our mission is to provide accessible, personalized eye care while delivering an exceptional patient experience in a modern and welcoming environment. In light fun, mutual respectful atmosphere.
We are seeking a patient-focused, personable Optometrist to help establish and grow our optical practice from the ground up.
Position Summary
The Optometrist will initially provide comprehensive eye examinations one day per week, with opportunities to expand clinical days as patient demand grows. This position is ideal for an Optometrist seeking flexibility, supplemental income, or the opportunity to play a key role in building a growing practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions
- Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Educate patients on vision and eye health
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with optical staff to ensure an outstanding patient experience
- Promote continuity of care and patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active New York State Optometry License
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required
