We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our transportation and logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, communicating with customers and drivers, system data entries, tracking deliveries, and ensuring efficient movement of freight while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers and fellow personnel.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve service or delay issues
- Track freight shipments and provide timely system data updates
- Assist with route planning and load optimization
- Ensure compliance with company policy and transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate data in transportation management systems and dispatch sheets
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer service or supply chain operations required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, excel, and outlook
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Trucking operations and transportation management systems TMW or Samsara a plus.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
