We own hundreds of properties in Buffalo and the surrounding areas throughout Erie and Niagara County. The Rehab Lead Technician is responsible for providing expert skills in renovating vacant units between tenants. Please note a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation is REQUIRED. We do reimburse for milage on a bi-weekly basis.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Overseeing a crew of 3-5 people
- Assist in general training of employees
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
- Document all work orders appropriately
- General duties to prepare units for move in
- Replace flooring
- Install cabinets and/ or counter tops
- Cosmetic repairs which will include plaster, painting, etc.
- Commute to different job sites
- Communicate effectively with tenants, management and staff
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
- Light electrical knowledge
- Light plumbing knowledge
- Minor knowledge in framing
- Able to work with little supervision
- Technical Skills (phone, ipad, ect...)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 3 – 5 years of Residential Construction
- 2+ Years of Supervisory Experience
- Valid Driver's License **Required**
- Reliable Transportation (truck and/or SUV) ** MUST HAVE**
- Must have tools and ability to transport tools to complete tasks outlined above
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to work both alone and as part of a team
- Must be able to think on your feet and apply troubleshooting techniques
