The firm has been around since the 1980s, has built an incredibly loyal client base and continues to grow through referrals more than anything else. They're now turning work away because demand has outgrown the team.
They're looking for a Tax Manager who wants to become part of that, not just fill a seat.
You'll work with privately owned businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and nonprofit organisations, managing client relationships from start to finish while mentoring junior staff and acting as a trusted advisor.
Busy season still exists, but it doesn't consume the year. Hours build towards the April deadline, typically peaking around 55 hours, before returning to a much more sustainable pace.
What they're looking for
- 6+ years of Public Accounting tax experience
- Experience with 990s, 1040s, 1065s and 1041s.
- Experience working with high net worth clients, partnerships, trusts or nonprofits
- CPA or EA preferred
- Someone who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues alike
Some firms offer a better salary.
