Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work with pediatric individuals of varying ages, to treat speech and language disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping clients improve their communication skills and overall quality of life through tailored therapy plans and interventions.
Duties
- Document client performance and report information
- Experience working with children, particularly natural environments.
- Provide therapy under Supervising SLP
- Demonstrate or share information with patients' families and staff regarding carryover strategies developed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
- Observe speech and language assessments given by supervising SLP
- Compassionate approach towards clients, fostering a supportive environment for growth.
Education
License/ Certification
- SLPA License, State Licensure (Required)
