Job Title: Superintendent I
Reports To: Adam Hammons
Position Overview:
-
Represent the Forge Company on active project sites in a manner to elevate the Forge Brand to our customers, trade partners and the public.
- Manage a group of subcontractors, Forge employees, vendors, trade partners (precursor & successor) and our clients to achieve a planned project delivery on time and within budget while creating and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Duties:

Conduct and report daily JHSA ahead of work starting.
- Conduct daily startup meetings for onsite workers outlining the daily work plan and the methods in which the plan will be executed and submit the report daily.
- Complete and submit daily reporting in accordance with Forge SOP and GC SOP in ACC.
- Complete and submit weekly time sheet reporting to the Director of Operations prior to 10 AM on Monday.
- Maintain professional appearance in dress attire and workspace including proper care for Forge equipment.
- Evaluate needs related to material, manpower, access and equipment and make timely notifications to the General Superintendent to keep the proper amount of stock on site to maximize production.
- Ensure assurance and control of production, quality and safety standards as set forth in the project startup and subsequent planning meetings.
- Complete and submit tool inventory reporting monthly to the General Superintendent.
- Complete and submit T&M reporting weekly to the Director of Operations.

Complete and submit baseline schedule reporting bi-weekly to the Director of Operations.
- Provide current jobsite photographs to the Director of Operations prior to 10AM on Monday.
- Complete and submit material usage report monthly to the Director of Operations.
- Complete and submit a quality issues report in ACC daily.
- Complete and submit efficiencies report monthly to the Director of Operations.
- Complete and submit subcontractor evaluation report monthly to the Director of Operations.
- Complete and submit client evaluation report monthly to the Director of Operations.
- Complete and submit reports daily to the Director of Operations for equipment, access and PPE inspections.
- Evaluate craftsmanship of Forge labor, to include but not be limited to; subcontractors, for compliance of installed scope of work in accordance with manufacturer's standards, project specifications and contract documents.
Qualifications:
-
Must be able to read and interpret construction contract documents, submittals and other related literature including but not limited to; shop drawings, architecturals, exploded diagrams, specifications, product data, technical bulletins and digital models.
- Proficiency in management related to construction workers of varying trades.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, conflict resolution strategy and organizational skills.
- Must possess and maintain current certifications for O.S.H.A. 30, fall protection, scaffolding, rigging, signaling, aerial lifts, swing stages, mast climbers, CPR first responder and welding for light gauge and red iron steel.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in use of digital interface software including but not limited to; ACC, Outlook, MS Excel, IOS platforms and Procore.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- In-depth understanding of design principles, industry trends, and best practices.
- Must possess the ability to evaluate at-risk situations and exercise strong conflict resolution strategies and communicate the same quickly and calmly to the client to meet contract obligations.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to navigate a jobsite as needed, including the ability to wear any required personal protective equipment and understand and comply with any posted or verbal safety guidelines.
- Must be able to work full time off site in adverse weather conditions anywhere in the continental United States at varying heights.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, in the English language.
