What to Expect
The Installer Support team serves as an escalation point for our network of installer partners who distribute, install and service residential Tesla energy products. We strive to empower our installer partners to provide the best end-customer experience possible, and we are an end point for determining next steps and solutions for many situations.
The Installer Support Supervisor is responsible for performance management and business transformations for this complex team. The ideal candidate will be able to think critically and strategically to find impactful solutions for current and future complications, and to execute in a way that produces results in a timely manner.
Candidates must be technical-minded people leaders who can maintain engineer-level knowledge of Tesla products to assist their team with problem solving. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of electrical, structural, and engineering concepts as well as experience in employee development and people leading.
What You'll Do-
Effectively supervise and coach assigned technical employees to achieve the required quality and service goals

Lead, coach and develop a highly engaged team of technicians

Keep open communication with key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed and cost in line with customer and business needs

Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems

Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate their professional development

Collaborate with business partners to scale and grow the service production team in support of company targets

Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
What You'll Bring-
2+ years experience leading in a technical or engineering environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work with steady composure while under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

Strong understanding of electrical, structural, and engineering concepts

Strong technical skills in Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint

Ability to work full-time 8-hour day shift, on-site in an office

Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but is not required
