Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead <PERSON> to oversee and coordinate all aspects of <PERSON> projects within our construction teams. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. As a Lead <PERSON>, you will be responsible for guiding teams, interpreting technical plans, and managing daily operations on-site. Your leadership will drive project success, foster teamwork, and uphold safety protocols across all phases of construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crews in the erection of metal
- Renovation of houses, framing, light drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, and millworker.
- Oversee concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing activities to meet specifications and quality benchmarks
- Manage construction site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling tasks, and ensuring proper use of hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed specifications to guide project execution
- Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure precise framing, siding, stucco, and masonry work
- Supervise framing carpentry, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and drywall installation while maintaining safety protocols
- Facilitate remodeling projects by coordinating different trades such as plastering, woodworking, welding, and masonry for seamless project delivery
- Ensure heavy lifting is performed safely with appropriate equipment and techniques; monitor work progress regularly to address issues promptly
Skills
- Extensive experience in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, framing, millwork, flooring, & siding.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential construction equipment
- Competent in masonry work including stucco application, siding installation, and general bricklaying techniques
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely for framing and trim carpentry tasks
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, welding, and site management
- Solid background in remodeling projects involving carpentry, plastering, woodworking, metal stud framing, and siding applications
- Strong communication skills for coordinating teams effectively across diverse trades while maintaining high safety standards
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in construction tasks
