Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with various POS systems. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
- Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a hospitality setting
