Location: Cumming, Iowa (7 miles South of DesMoines, just off I-35)
Hours: 8-5pm Mon-Fri (Weekends Off!!) FT / PT Flexible

While this is an “office” position requiring daily phone and keyboard usage, there’s also a fair amount of “hands-on” daily work activity as well. Read on for more details.
About Us: We specialize in Ford diesel truck performance tuning, repair, service, parts and accessories. We have a single bay, full service repair shop on site and a thriving e-commerce website. Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with a dynamic blend of skills. Someone who is a bit of an office guru comfortable issuing purchase orders, processing sales orders or talking to customers, but equally comfortable pulling parts, packing boxes and processing inbound and outbound shipping.
- Computer & Office Machine: Solid computer, office machine and web skills are a must. Graphics skills are a plus. Our operations team utilizes a variety of Windows and cloud based software platforms, a VOIP office phone system and a couple of printer types. We need someone that can jump in and roll!
- Multi-tasking: The ability to multi-task is vital. We need someone able to juggle multiple tasks/efforts simultaneously and work well under moderate pressure.
- Automotive Knowledge: A basic working knowledge of general automotive and mechanical concepts, and parts is beneficial. Our whole business is revolves around automotive maintenance, problems and solutions.
- Electronics Knowledge: Candidates with some basic fundamental electronics/circuit board knowledge are desired but it’s not an absolute requirement.
- Customer Interaction: General phone, e-mail and face to face customer interaction skills are required. Well-rounded customer service skills are a big part of the job.
- Document Generation & Accuracy: Able to accurately generate purchase orders, invoices, credit memos, documents and e-mail communication. Accuracy and attention to detail is critical!
- Physically Able: Must be able to able to lift up to 50lbs, kneel, bend and reach
- Interpersonal: Must be able to work well with and get along with co-workers and management. Interacting in a mutually respectful manner is a requirement. To function effectively as a team, we need team players.
Typical Duties:
- Processing Orders: monitoring, entering, processing customer orders.
- Electronics & Tuning: Loading software onto modules, loading tuners, labeling modules.
- Shipping: Processing all inbound and outbound shipping.
- Inventory: Monitoring inventory and sourcing/ordering parts from various vendors.
- Daily learning: ongoing learning of product lines, applicable customer vehicles & components
- Customer Inquiries & Interaction: phone, email, online portal & face to face.
