HH Direct Health Services LLC is a Health Care provider that offers services to individuals that have Developmental Disabilities. We are hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in the Summit Co area.
Job Overview:
Performing & ensuring delivery of daily assistance and oversight, for clients and staff. Assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, ambulation, medication administering, and health care related tasks, as needed. Minimum of 1 year of experience with the Developmental Disabilities population.
- Detailed oriented, organized and professional
- Critical thinking & problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to complete ADL's if needed.
- Must be willing to be Med Certified 1, 2, 3
- Must be willing to take behavioral training
- Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Documenting services provided daily
- Positive interactions with clients, families, SSA's, vendors and staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school degree/GED required
- 18 years of age or older
- First Aid/CPR
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Flexibility for all shifts as needed
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to work in a group home, home-like settings
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
