Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Electrical Sign Contractor License or Electrical Contractor License holder to lead permit approval processes for complex electrical signage projects. This role involves managing the entire permitting lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and industry standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical construction management, technical project oversight, and team leadership within the signage or infrastructure construction industry. Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain necessary electrical sign contractor or electrical contractor licenses for permit approval across multiple jurisdictions.
- Review construction drawings, electrical plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate with clients, city officials, inspectors, and internal teams to facilitate permit submission and approval processes.
- Manage construction schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet project timelines efficiently.
- Oversee construction site activities related to electrical signage installation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections and quality assurance reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead teams of electricians and subcontractors, providing supervision, guidance, and performance management.
- Maintain detailed documentation of permits, inspections, compliance reports, and project progress updates.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices in construction management.
- Manage client communication effectively, providing updates on permit status and project milestones while addressing any issues proactively.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on electrical or signage projects within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to review construction drawings and electrical plans accurately.
- Extensive knowledge of local building codes, electrical codes (such as NEC), and permitting processes for signage installations.
- Prior experience managing teams in a construction management role with technical supervision responsibilities.
- Strong background in construction estimating, cost management, scheduling coordination, and contract management.
- Familiarity with construction safety management practices and quality inspection procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Experience overseeing infrastructure construction projects with an emphasis on compliance and client satisfaction.
- Technical project & program management supervisory experience is highly desirable for leading complex projects effectively.
