Senior Electrical Engineer (Industrial Power & Nuclear)
Location: Huntsville, AL - onsite

Our client, a leading engineering and technology company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support complex industrial and nuclear-related projects. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with expertise in power distribution, electrical system analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for industrial and power generation projects.
- Perform power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective device coordination using ETAP or SKM.
- Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial, power generation, or nuclear electrical engineering.
- Proficiency with ETAP or SKM.
- Experience with power distribution systems, electrical studies, and protection coordination.
- Knowledge of IEEE and NFPA standards.
- Experience in regulated industries (nuclear, DOE, utility, or similar) is highly preferred.
- PE license or EIT is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
